Languages and Rates

The complete spectrum of languages that Language Services offers has been grouped into categories for pricing purposes. Many dialects and uncommon languages have not been listed here. If the language you want is not included, contact our office. If we don't already have a linguist for that language, we'll find one!

Group A	French and Spanish
Group B	Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Flemish, German, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese and Swedish
Group C	Afrikaans, Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Bengali, Bulgarian, Cambodian, Cantonese, Croatian, Czech, Fijian, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Igbo, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Mandarin, Persian, Polish, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Samoan, Serbian, Slovak, Swahili, Tagalog, Taiwanese, Thai, Tongan, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese, Yiddish and Yoruba

Translation Rates

The rates listed in the following table indicate the amount charged per word for each language group. The cost varies according to the complexity of the document. Additional factors used to determine translation costs are described after the table.

Discounts given for volume projects. A surcharge may be added for rush orders. Minimum billing $25.00. Special formatting billed additionally by the hour.

Interpreting Rates

The rates listed in the following table indicate the amount charged for consecutive interpreters for each language group. Court certified and simultaneous interpreter rates quoted upon request. Travel and other expenses required for the assignment will be added. Discounts available for long assignments.
